Hello young nonprofit professionals of the Twin Cities! Did you know that you have access to our board minutes? Yes, you do! You can find public board meeting minutes on our Radical Transparence page.
Though there are no legal requirements that a nonprofit (or soon to be 501c3 like us!) publish board minutes, we are doing this for some great reasons.
Though transparency is not explicitly listed in our values, it is integral to all the components of our values and ultimately our mission and vision. As an organization that strives for respect and inclusiveness, we need to be accessible to the members that we serve. Public board minutes also keep us accountable. We hope that public minutes create space for members to identify opportunities for collaboration or gaps in programming to meet the demands of our sector and community.
Go check them out! You should always feel free to reach out to any of the board members if you have questions or want to learn more about specific discussion items you come across in the minutes. Send an email our way: [email protected].
