Throw Out the Welcome Mat, It's Time to Greet New Members!

Remember when you were new to YNPN-TC? Did you feel so welcome that you're looking for a way to pay it forward to other newbies? Or maybe you're interested in volunteering with YNPN-TC, but don't want to join a formal committee. Well friends, we've got the perfect opportunity for you. We're looking for volunteers who want to connect with other members via email. This is a short-term, remote, and easy way to volunteer while making a major impact in our community.

Prepare to Be RADICALLY Welcomed!

What would you say if I told you that close to half of  the people who come to YNPN-TC events feel either “not-at-all” or only “kind of” welcome? “Whoa, no way?” or “Yeah, that sounds about right.” A full 43 percent of respondents to our 2012 membership survey reported feeling less-than welcome at our programs last year, which for me, as the new membership chair at YNPN-TC, is a shocking statistic that is top on my list to address this year.
