becoming a board member

Do you want to take your YNPN involvement to the next level?

Apply to join the board of directors!

YNPN-TC is always looking for current and future leaders with drive to steer our organization as we move towards the future. We are dedicated to inclusiveness, collaboration, and community engagement.

We seek skills of professionals like you in the areas of programming, recruitment, finances, and technology/communications. Board membership is a two-year commitment that results in various benefits and opportunities for our members. The skills you develop here can be applied at any nonprofit. The time commitment is 10-15 hours per month, which involves committee meetings, board meetings and work outside of meetings.

Unsure if it's something that is up your alley?  Hear what current and past board members have to say about serving on the YNPN-TC board:

"This is the most dedicated group of people I know. I love how much everyone cares about the org and how everyone is constantly thinking of ways we can try and make it even better for our members. "

"Having the opportunity to show I have more than potential, that I can do, that's what @ynpntc meant to me."

Still not sure?  Reach out to a current board member and pick their brain!  Board members are always more than happy to share their experiences and give insight into what being a board member is all about.

NOTE: To complete your application, you must fill out the google form and submit your resume to [email protected] with the subject line "Your name 2021 YNPN-TC Board Application."
