Five Minutes in Hell is YNPN-Twin Cities’ annual story night where you, our members, take the stage and wow us with your stories. Through quick, fun, five-minute presentations, you'll sharpen your speaking skills while sharing insights with your fellow YNPNers.
We're descending on La Doña Cervecería in Minneapolis on November 6th.
Who is in the hot seat this year?
Ruth Hamberg is a YNPN-TC board member, owner of Squaretree digital marketing agency, and co-creator of the dance*werking program (mainly a clever way to combine passions for dance, collaboration and leadership).
Presentation title: My nonprofit life as told by playlists
What are you listening to today? Your personal soundtrack inspires, teaches, balances and entertains us. It also has a lot to say about your journey. Come along for a sound-based retrospective into one woman’s career to date -- from songs that help you make it through a spreadsheet to songs that help you make it through the day.
Virginia Brown & Chris Oien were on the YNPN-TC board for several years starting in 2010 and will still have a spirited debate over who had the best committee. Virginia now works at Aeon and Chris at the Minnesota Council on Foundations.
Presentation title: A Word from Your Elders: Nonprofit Lyfe After 35
Ever wonder what's next, when you start finding grey hairs and thinking it's time to graduate from YNPN? Two former YNPN board members return to give you a glimpse at the other side of 35, with five tips for nailing your old age.
Oluwatobi Oluwagbemi is a smart, fun loving young lady who loves people and hard work.

Presentation title: Adopting a Dog Before Buying a Couch (and other questionable decisions)
