Every year, young nonprofit leaders from all around the country gather together for the YNPN National Conference. We head to a different city each time to make new connections, build skills, and get inspired to be stronger leaders in our communities. And we are beyond thrilled to announce that the conference host for 2014 has just been announced as....drum roll please....YNPN Twin Cities!
We have two wonderful conference partners in the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. We’ll team up with them to co-host the Nonprofit Leadership Conference on June 26, 2014, as part of the YNPN National Conference. We’re excited to be a part of this already high quality gathering and to put a YNPN twist on it that gets everyone engaged in conversations important to emerging leaders.
But wait, there’s more! We also want to use this opportunity to celebrate our YNPN-TC community and put it on the tip of everyone’s tongue, both locally and in the national YNPN network. We’re cooking up a series of programs and activities during that week of June 26 to do just that.
And here’s the best part: you can get involved! To pull this off, we’ll need the ideas and energy of many a YNPN-TCer. Stay tuned over the coming month or two as we send out specific volunteer opportunities you can sign up for to bring this dream opportunity to life over the next year.
Whether as a conference volunteer or an attendee, we’re excited to engage you in this centerpiece of our plans for 2014!
