Helen Paille started an attorney position at Civil Society in St. Paul where she will be representing victims of trafficking in their civil cases. 

Nick Cross passed his Licensed Graduate Social Work (LGSW) exam, becoming a licensed social worker in Minnesota. 
Michael Brink started his new job as the Special Gifts Manager at Fraser. Anthony Parrish joined the APRA-MN (Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement) Programming Committee. 
Nicki Patnaude was hired as an Educational Support Advocate with Lutheran Social Service of MN. 
Thom Walker is now Creative Lead at EPIC - Engaging Philanthropy, Inspiring Creatives

The Scoop: January 2014's News From Our Members

Lizzie Morris and Phil Morris (no relation) were both recently hired on as Metro Program Coordinators with ServeMinnesota Action Network. They will be joining the Minnesota Reading and Math Corps team. ServeMinnesota Action Network is thrilled to have Lizzie and Phil on board!

Cary Walski will be presenting a Webinar for NTEN on Feb 12 entitled "Networked by Nature" on a YNPN-TC case study of social media success.

Matt Buechner is now a policy fellow for the DC State Board of Education.

Sam Zastrow is now Engagement Manager at Gage.

Tane Danger was selected as a fellow for Intermedia Arts' Creative Community Leadership Institute.

Katie Brokaw is now Talent Acquisition Specialist at Starkey Hearing Technologies.

Rinal Ray is starting as MCN's Public Policy Advocate.

Colleen MacDonald is now Project and Office Coordinator at the Social Enterprise Alliance.

As a new YNPN-TC volunteer, I was thrilled when board member Lauren asked if I would be willing to help with the fall Emerging Leaders Network (ELN) lunch series. The theme would be “leading together,” a component of YNPN’s vision. “Absolutely!” I replied in an email peppered with exclamation marks.
