Leadership Breakfast with YNPN-TC Founder Trisha Reinwald

Come Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the YNPN Twin Cities chapter with a special Leadership Breakfast with Founder Trisha Reinwald!

Leadership Breakfast Registration Lottery:

Registration for this event will be open from Thursday, June 23 - Monday, June 27. In this time we will allow as many people to sign up for the event as possible. There is no limit. From there we will have a lottery where we will choose 20 participants at random. This way we will be able to ensure everyone has a fair chance to attend a Leadership Breakfast event.

Our facilitator will reach out to all participants on Wednesday, June 29 letting everyone know whether or not they received a spot through the lottery.

Trisha_Reinwald.jpgA Little Bit About Our Founder Trisha Reinwald, VP of Member Advancement at MACC Alliance/MACC CommonWealth:

In my role as Vice President of Member Advancement at MACC Alliance/ MACC CommonWealth, I support efforts to connect members to the value of membership in the collaborative and to engage them in our work together. MACC is an organization whose mission is to strengthen our member organizations by building the connections, collective expertise, and collaborative solutions that enable positive community outcomes.

There is greater demand for nonprofit collaboration and as MACC has grown, so have the challenges and complexities present in the nonprofit world. My work at MACC is focused on engaging members and supporting efforts to increase the value members receive from their membership. I'm excited by the power and potential of a group of nonprofit organizations committed to building relationships and trust, committed to collaborative strategies, and committed to making a positive impact in the community. Our members are all focused on operating collaboratively to achieve greater impact- and that's pretty amazing.

Day to day I'm checking in with MACC members, directing communication and engagement strategies, supporting engagement in our mission and connection to our organizational values, pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, and chasing a toddler around my house in south Minneapolis.

In my past work as the Minnesota Jaycees Executive Director, I supported the implementation and direction of the strategic plan, communications and marketing, member engagement, fundraising, and new program development. I managed the finance and administrative areas of the organization and built research and internship projects for focused capacity-building work. Prior to my time at the Jaycees, I spent the early years of my career at HECUA and the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits.

Throughout my career I have focused on working to engage young people in their community and in innovative associations- both community-based and professional.

I have a passion for leadership development of young people. I was the founder of the Twin Cities chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN Twin Cities) and also held a seat on the YNPN National Board. I have also been active in organizations working to engage young adults in civic life- Minnesota NOW, League of Women Voters, and Minnesota Rising. I also spend as much time as I can mentoring young professionals that have an interest in careers in the nonprofit sector.

I am originally from a rural community on the Canadian border in Minnesota, and have a strong interest in bridging urban and rural divides through my work in the nonprofit sector. I graduated from St. Olaf College with a degree in political science and graduated with a M.A. in nonprofit management from Hamline University.
