Leadership Breakfast with Mai-Anh Kapanke

Leadership Breakfast with Mai-Anh Kapanke

NEW to Leadership Breakfast Registration!

Registration for this event will be open from Saturday, January 16 - Tuesday, January 19. In this time we will allow as many people to sign up for the event as possible. There is no limit. From there we will have a lottery where we will choose 20 participants at random. This way we will be able to ensure everyone has a fair chance to attend a Leadership Breakfast event.

Our facilitator will reach out to all participants on Wednesday, January 20 letting everyone know whether or not they received a spot through the lottery.

Mai_February.jpgA Little Bit About Our Executive Director:

Mai-Anh Kapanke has been with the Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota for 10 years and has served as Executive Director since January 2015. She leads the strategic direction for MPM and develops partnerships with key stakeholders. Kapanke provides financial oversight for the organization, manages statewide and national marketing initiatives for mentoring, and is a lobbyist for positive youth development funding priorities.

Kapanke is a former Humphrey Policy Fellow at the University of Minnesota.  In 2011, she completed the Institute for Executive Director Leadership program through the University of St. Thomas. Before joining MPM, Kapanke co-directed the YMCA Mentor Duluth program where she managed public relations and marketing efforts.  She graduated from Michigan State University with a journalism degree.  Prior to her work in the mentoring arena, she was a television news reporter and weather anchor for six years. Kapanke has served as a mentor with both Mentor Duluth and Kids 'n Kinship.  She serves on the Eagan Wave Soccer Club Board and spends much of her time coaching and cheering on her daughters' soccer teams.
