About The Leadership Breakfast Series
Looking to get to the next level in your nonprofit career? At YNPN Twin Cities' Leadership Breakfast series, nonprofit leaders will share with you exactly how they did it, what they learned and what they're looking for in a rising nonprofit leader.
A little bit about Kate Bottiger, Executive Director of Reach for Resources, Inc.:
Kate Bottiger has been with Reach for Resources, Inc. since August 2014 as the Executive Director. Reach provides services and supports for children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions. Prior to her time with Reach, Kate was the Executive Director at Rein in Sarcoma, an organization that supports individuals with sarcoma cancer by raising awareness, providing education, and raising funds for research in hopes of new treatments. Kate also worked for Hammer Residences, Inc. for 22 years. Her most recent position was the Director of Advocacy & Volunteer Resources, where she oversaw advocacy, recreation, and volunteer resources. During her time as the Director of Volunteers, she was able to help grow Hammer's volunteer resources from 80 to over 600 volunteers that worked throughout the organization.
Kate lives in Buffalo, Minnesota with her husband, Dan, and two kids, Danielle & Eddie. Kate loves to garden, swim, read, watch movies, and hang out with friends and family.
Leadership Breakfast Registration Lottery
Registration for this event will be open from Thursday, July 25 through Monday, July 29 EOD. We allow as many people to sign up for the event as possible, and from there we choose 25 participants at random, while also holding space for young nonprofit professionals who identify as a person of color. We do this to keep these events intimate while ensuring everyone has a fair chance to attend a Leadership Breakfast event. If you registered for the lottery and identify as a person of color, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know to place your name in the correct lottery.
Our facilitator will reach out to all participants on Tuesday, July 30 letting everyone know whether or not they received a spot through the lottery. Lottery winners will be asked to submit a question for our speaker in order to confirm their space. Unconfirmed spaces will be given to members of the wait list.
