Happy Hours
Monthly, YNPNTC hosts either a networking happy hour or other professional development opportunity. Happy hours are hosted by one or two board members at various locations throughout the twin cities and offer the opportunity to network with other young professionals and learn more about our work. They’re free and open to everyone, no RSVP required.
Emerging Leaders Network Lunches
Every month YNPNTC co-sponsors an Emerging Leaders Network brown-bag lunch with the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. Each topic-based conversation typically features a short presentation or panel by leaders in the field and plenty of time for questions, conversation and networking. These brown bag lunches take place at MCN on the third Friday of every month.
Professional Development
YNPNTC offers a professional development opportunity each quarter in rotation with our monthly happy hours. Events and topics can range from volunteer opportunities to career fairs to financial literacy seminars for young nonprofit professionals.
Other Special Events
YNPNTC co-hosts other events and opportunities with other organizations, often in conjunction with conferences or other events targeted at nonprofit professionals.
